- Just wondering how the pose running technique translates into running up hill and down hill as one's posture is quite a bit different compared to running on flat.
I would guess that your body will naturally go into the pose method running up hill due to the forced shorter stride.
Is pose running practical going down hill? I can see some potential control and balance issues with trying to keep a forward leaning angle perpendicular to the ground.Posted by Vincent on 01/25 at 11:27 PM - I find it rather odd and funny that someone can determine a mechanical efficiency improvement to two significant figures, but left it up to God to find out how much faster the subjects were running.
