This is a 60 minute free session that explains the crossfit method and evaluates your current level of fitness

THIRD: Acceptance into the school We are looking for the right people, our students must be motivated, honest and fun to be around.

    FORTH: Private Coaching
Once accepted you will be receiving world Class coaching as a part of our school of fitness. You will be assigned a Coach (Head Teacher) and a level II apprentice who will be personally responsible for you and remain with you all the way through our process. Level I apprentices may observe from time to time.

You will receive the very finest fitness coaching in the world and be giving back to the larger community at the same time.

Once you have done the fitness evaluation you begin private coaching sessions to teach you the fundamental movement patterns you need for Crossfit (and Life). This phase typically lasts 5 to 8 weeks (longer if you are decrepit) depending on the consistency and intensity of your training, your diet, sleep patterns and athletic ability.

    Phase I (Minimum 11 sessions) costs $750 for 1 on 1 training, $500 (each) for 1 on 2 training,

Most reasonably active students with decent degree of fitness will take about 15 private fitness sessions to get into Group Classes.

Some students may need the extra attention of 1 on 1 training and continue with private Coaching Sessions to get them to the next level.

    FIFTH: GROUP SESSIONS

Here you play games, compete for rounds, time, points and glory. Our group sessions will occur as sport. They are intended to further your education into human performance, nutrition and health.

At this stage you are a well developed “Ginea Pig” and you may apply for an apprentice ship in Crossfit coaching and get a Level I Certified Crossfit Trainer Certificate. This certificate will allow you to be licensed and insured in North America as a Crossfit Trainer.

Executive Program Graduate: John Stanley

John Stanley came to Vancouver for the in-house executive business mentorship diploma program in April 2011. Here’s his story:

When I first heard about CrossFit, I was skeptical. Every program claims to be number one, and most don’t come close to meeting that mark. So I started researching and found that there was a lot of science behind the program. It just made sense to me.
I wanted to learn more, so I talked with Patty and we discussed a level one cert, and then he suggested his business mentorship program. I thought, ‘Well if I’m going to open a new business, who better to learn from than the guys that brought the product into the country?’

Simply put, the program gave me all of the ins and outs of the business. These guys had already made all of the mistakes and found the best ways around them. I took in everything they said, and completely bought into their system.

CrossFit Vancouver showed me the perfect way to expose a new client to CrossFit. I live in a city of only twenty thousand, in one of the coldest parts of the country, a place where people want to be outside in the summer. Despite this, I still signed sixty very happy clients in the last two summer months. They are going strong, getting great results, and I believe they are all going to become long-term CrossFitters.

Thank you Patty, and, of course, the entire CrossFit Vancouver crew!

-John Stanley
